The Krishni Cancer Fund
 At age 20, Krishnapriya was a healthy, active, choreographer and leading instructor at Geethalayam Art Institute, Herning, Danmark, in the prime of her life. One event would change her life forever. Clinical examinations finally concluded that she was having a leukemia. The term leukemia refers to cancers of the white blood cells, which are also referred to as leukocytes or WBCs. In Krishni’s case it was Acute (rapidly developing) Lymphocytic Leukemia (ALL).

"5995 families resettled in the NorthEast have received assistance from Rs60m given by the European Commission's Humanitarian Aid Organization (ECHO) and the Spanish Red Cross," said National Secretary to the Sri Lanka Red Cross (SLRC), Mr. Nimal Kumar, during a press conference held in Vavuniya Tuesday.
